WORK PACKAGE NO. 2
#EMME Curriculum – Memory of the Earth
The #EMME Curriculum – Memory of the Earth is the central educational resource developed within our Erasmus+ project, designed to help teachers and students explore geology, environmental heritage, sustainability, and the cultural stories of our planet. Created under the coordination of the University of Bucharest – UNESCO Global Geopark Țara Hațegului and enriched by contributions from all project partners, the curriculum combines scientific accuracy with modern, student-centred learning approaches.
Structured into five comprehensive learning units, it includes ready-to-use lesson plans, hands-on field activities, worksheets, digital tasks, assessment tools, and interdisciplinary connections. The curriculum was piloted in all partner schools and validated through teacher feedback, ensuring that it is both practical and impactful in real classrooms.
To guarantee accessibility for the wider educational community, the curriculum is available in all partner languages:
English (Original Version)
All versions can be freely downloaded and used by teachers, students, and educational institutions interested in integrating geoscience and sustainability into their learning practices.
