Virtual Mobility – Bringing the EMME partners together online
Between the 12th to 14th of May 2025, the EMME project partners from Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, and Croatia met once again — this time in a fully virtual mobility, designed to support the development of the EMME Video Documentaries under WP4: #EMME Around the World.
Over three days of online collaboration, teachers, students, and experts worked together in interactive workshops and creative sessions focusing on storytelling, filming techniques, video editing, and dissemination strategies.
The mobility opened with partner updates and an introduction to the documentary structure, followed by a series of hands-on workshops delivered by the University of Bucharest – UNESCO Global Geopark Țara Hațegului and Geoaçores – Associação Geoparque Açores. Participants explored practical tools for filming and editing, developed storyboards, drafted scripts, and discussed the pedagogical role of documentary-making in geoscience education.
The final day was dedicated to dissemination, led by Liceul Teoretic „Avram Iancu” Brad, highlighting how the upcoming EMME documentaries will be promoted through schools, social media, eTwinning, and local communities.
The virtual mobility concluded with a reflection session and a concrete roadmap for completing the video outputs in 2025.
Even at a distance, the partners demonstrated strong collaboration, creativity, and shared commitment to promoting Earth’s memories through innovative digital storytelling.
