The conference focused on how geological heritage, local culture, and sustainability can reshape teaching practices across Europe.<br \/>\nThe event ensured broad accessibility and participation, gathering guests from across Romania and from partner institutions in Portugal, Croatia, and Slovakia. Throughout the conference, participants explored the collaborative work behind the curriculum and were invited to discover its five interdisciplinary modules:<br \/>\nI. Geology &amp; Paleontology<br \/>\nII. Ecology &amp; Biodiversity<br \/>\nIII. Environmental Stewardship<br \/>\nIV. Local History &amp; Culture<br \/>\nV. Mapping &amp; Spatial Skills<\/p>\n<p>The online session featured presentations from the project team, contributions from UNESCO Global Geoparks experts, live interactions with teachers and students involved in pilot activities, and an engaging Kahoot quiz testing participants\u2019 knowledge of Earth\u2019s memory and geoscience concepts.<\/p>\n<p>The conference concluded with a shared commitment to disseminate the EMME Curriculum more widely through eTwinning and beyond, ensuring that the project\u2019s values\u2014sustainability, geoscience awareness, and place-based learning\u2014continue to grow in European schools.<\/p>\n<p>This eTwinning event marked the official conclusion of Work Package 2 and demonstrated the impact of Erasmus+ partnerships in co-creating meaningful educational resources, all while celebrating ErasmusDays in a spirit of European cooperation.
