WORK PACKAGE NO. 4 – #EMME AROUND THE WORLD
Virtual Mobility – May 2025
Hosted online by all partner institutions · 12–14 May 2025
The Virtual Mobility represented a key milestone of WP4 – #EMME Around the World, bringing together students, teachers, and experts from Romania, Portugal, Slovakia and Croatia for an immersive three-day digital experience. This event allowed partners to collaborate in real time, develop joint materials, and strengthen their digital competences while working on the creation of the EMME Video Documentaries.
Throughout the three days, participants engaged in workshops, collaborative sessions, partner presentations and hands-on production activities, all designed to support the development of storytelling, filming and editing skills in line with the project’s objectives.
📅 Day 1 – Opening & Foundations
- 12 May 2025The mobility began with a warm welcome and an overview of the EMME project, setting the tone for the work ahead. Each partner institution presented its progress, achievements and upcoming tasks, offering a clear picture of the project’s evolution so far.The first thematic workshop—led by the University of Bucharest, UNESCO Global Geopark Țara Hațegului—focused on creating video documentaries, introducing pedagogical guidelines and technical expectations. In the afternoon, participants worked collaboratively on drafting the structure and content outline for their future documentaries.
🎬 Day 2 – Filming Techniques & Creative Development
13 May 2025
The day opened with a recap, followed by a practical workshop delivered by Geoaçores – Associação Geoparque Açores, exploring filming and editing techniques, recommended tools, and best practices for producing engaging educational videos.
Partners were then divided into breakout rooms for group work, where they developed detailed scripts and storyboards for their documentary topics. The afternoon session continued with collaborative feedback, refining the storyline and visual approach of each team.
